Areas of North Street, 21st Street, and 22nd Street will have the water temporarily shut off as the water department and contractors complete a section of the water main replacement project between High Street and Broadway.
The water service interruption is scheduled tentatively for Monday, May 6 or Tuesday, May 7, 2024 depending on the weather.
Areas affected by the water shut off include:
- 2000, 2100, and 2200 blocks of North Street
- 200 block of 21st Street
- 100 and 200 blocks of 22nd Street
Water service interruptions may cause a loss of water pressure resulting in little to no water flow at water fixtures.
Water will be turned off approximately 4-6 hours starting at 8:00 a.m. This is expected to be the last service interruption in this area.
Drivers are urged to use caution in all construction zones.
