Here are a few things we thought you might want to know for Tuesday, January 5, 2021:
Students at Logansport Junior High School and Logansport High School will continue a hybrid learning schedule through spring break. This schedule is for students in grades 7-12 only.
Curbside meal pickup is available at Logansport Junior High School every Wednesday for LCSC remote learning students, hybrid learning students, and anyone under the age of 18. Meals can be picked up between 10:30 am-11:00 am.

The NCAA announced yesterday that the entire 2021 men’s basketball championship will be held in Indiana, with the majority of the tournament’s 67 games taking place in Indianapolis. The NCAA is partnering with a local health provider to administer COVID-19 testing within the controlled environment for players, coaching staffs, administrators and officials. The tournament will be hosted by Ball State, Butler, the Horizon League, Indiana, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and Purdue.
The Cass County Soil and Water Conservation District is holding their annual tree sale. The deadline for ordering is February 19. For -more- information, call 574-753-4705, extension 3. You can also find more info on their Facebook page.
Monday’s update from the Indiana State Department of Health included 10 new cases of COVID-19 in Cass County, bringing the total number of cases to date to 4,329, with 43 deaths to date, and a 7-day positivity rate of 13.6%. The state’s COVID-19 dashboard is updated daily at noon at coronavirus.in.gov.
The Logansport Parks and Recreation Department announced on their Facebook page that the annual Daddy-Daughter Dance has been postponed.
