Cass County is under a yellow advisory on the travel status map as of Saturday night, as are several surrounding counties.

A winter storm warning is in effect from Saturday evening (Jan. 30) through Sunday evening (Jan. 31).
Heavy snow is likely, with accumulations of 5-9 inches or more.
The National Weather Service says “Travel is not advised in the warning area. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.”
