The National Weather service says a strong cold front will bring areas of freezing rain, snow and strong winds to the Midwest through the Great Lakes. A major Arctic outbreak will filter into the central and eastern U.S. with temperatures 10-30 degrees below normal.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for Cass County from 3 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 until 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, with wind chills to 20 below zero anticipated.
