Logansport Parks & Recreation Department announces “Dive-In Movie @ the Pool”

The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has organized a movie night at the Muehlhausen Aquatic Center. The event will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 just after dusk.

The pool will re-open for the evening at 8:45 p.m. to let movie goers in, with the movie starting at approximately 9:30 and running until roughly 11:15 p.m. The event is open to everyone over 5 years of age. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.The title of the movie that will be showing will be revealed on the Logansport Parks & Recreation Department’s Facebook page on Monday, June 7.

Please bring your own tubes to float in the night of the event. Tubes must be 47 inches in diameter or smaller. Loungers are not allowed. Floating devices that are tall i.e., swans, unicorns, etc. will not be permitted. Arm floaties and noodles do not qualify as safe floating devices and will not be allowed. Anyone that wishes to watch the movie from the pool deck must bring their own chairs.

Registration begins on Monday June 7, 2021 and runs until July 1, 2021 or until sold out, whichever comes first. Registration is available online through the Parks & Recreation Department’s website at www.logansportparks.com.

The registration fee is $10, which includes a drink and a snack.
