Grab the BLUE ring for World Diabetes Day on Nov. 14, 2021

Last Updated on November 9, 2021 by Pam Roller

The mascot, HOPE, Diabetes’s Best Friend, would like you to come to the Cass County Carousel to Grab the Blue Ring for Diabetes Awareness on World Diabetes Day Sunday, November 14, 2021. This event is FREE, and it isn’t a fundraiser. It’s a reminder of the seriousness of this disease that has become a global epidemic; early detection is essential in preventing life-altering complications.

Diabetics, their families, friends, and everyone willing to show support for a cure for this disease are invited to the Cass County Carousel on Riverview Drive in Logansport from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Have fun riding the carousel; enjoy eating hot popcorn, and spending a special time together.

Prizes will be given to those catching the Blue Ring. In honor of 100 years since the discovery of insulin, a hundred carousel tickets will be given away for future rides on the carousel.

Those wearing blue for Diabetes Awareness will receive a free stuffed puppy. HOPE will be giving out 5 free copies of the book, A Walk with HOPE, Diabetes’s Best Friend by Pamela Roller.
