LMU: Logansport Municipal Utilities’ offices and the Logansport City Building will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in observance of Veteran’s Day. Normal business hours will resume on Friday, November 12, 2021.
TRASH PICKUP: The trash pickup schedule for Logansport residents is not affected.
COURTHOUSE: The Cass County Government Building will be closed Thursday, Nov. 11.
BMV: All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) branches are closed Thursday, Nov. 11 in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. Branches resume regularly scheduled business hours on Friday, Nov. 12. POST OFFICES will be closed and there will be no mail delivery on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021.
BANKS: Most banks are closed on Veterans Day.
VETERANS DAY PARADE: The Cass County Veterans Council will present the annual Veterans Day Parade Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 in downtown Logansport. Parade lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. A ceremony at 4th and Broadway, near the Cass County Government Building, will begin at 10 a.m. The parade will move up Broadway to the Logansport City Building for another ceremony. This year’s grand marshal is U.S. Army and Korean War Veteran Gerald Morehouse.
FREE ADMISSION: All veterans and active-duty military personnel, and everyone in their vehicle, will be admitted free to DNR state parks, reservoir properties, state forest recreation areas and state off-road vehicle riding areas on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11. More info.
