Update as of Feb. 1, 2022: The Davis Road bridge is now open, with some slight width restrictions in place until the concrete is fully cured. Thanks to warm weather the past couple of days, we were able to complete the work only 6 days past the original completion time frame.
Update as of January 28, 2022: Due to the below normal temperatures this week, the final concrete pour on the Davis Road bridge is now tentatively scheduled for the first of next week, Jan 31 or Feb. 1. Assuming that can happen, we would have the bridge open by the end of the week, completing about 1 week later than originally planned.

The Cass County Highway Department announces the Davis Road Bridge will be closed starting on or after Wednesday, January 5, for concrete repairs. The closure is expected to last up to three weeks, depending on weather conditions.
Drivers will need to use alternate routes during the closure. The nearest bridges across the Eel River are 6th Street to the west, or CR 450E to the east.
