CCCF announces new board members for 2022, year-end assets for 2021

Year-end figures released at the January 2022 Cass County Community Foundation board meeting reported the Foundation’s total assets to be over $32.5 million, up from $28 million at the end of 2020. Over 91% of the foundation’s assets are permanent endowments which will benefit the community forever. Established in 1993, the foundation has provided grants to support Cass County non-profit organizations and scholarships to over 1,450 Cass County students since incorporating as a single county entity in 2001 totaling over $12.3 million. Last year, the Foundation provided scholarships, grants and distributions totaling over $900,000.

The Cass County Community Foundation also announced officers for 2022. Elected officers for 2022 are: Board Chairman, Tim Rich; Vice Chairman, Mike Englert; Treasurer, Molly Long; Secretary, Kathlene Maughmer; and Past Chairman, Lisa Swaim.

The officers will be joined by returning board members Suzanne Chilcott, Luke Gangloff, Carol Sue Hayworth, Paul Kroeger, Dan Layman, Barrie McClain, Mike Montgomery, Bud Reed, Sue Ridlen, and Kory Wilson.
