INDIANAPOLIS – The 500 Festival announces registration is open for Course Entertainment at the 2022 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. Selected groups will perform for a crowd of 30,000+ participants, volunteers, and spectators along the 13.1-mile course on May 7, 2022. Musicians, dance groups, bands, and family-friendly entertainers of all genres are encouraged to apply at IndyMini.com/entertainment.

Named America’s Best Half Marathon of the Decade by the BibRave 100 and one of “America’s Most Iconic Races” by Runner’s World, the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon is a unique opportunity for entertainment group recognition and to participate in the Month of May festivities. Each year, participants from all 50 states and 15+ countries from all over the world participate in The Greatest Spectacle in Running. Entertainment groups will pack the Indy Mini course, providing energy and excitement every step of the way. Selected entertainment acts will receive a wide variety of perks, including Indianapolis 500 practice tickets, group recognition, and the unforgettable experience of inspiring thousands of participants.

It is a very rewarding time,” said Robert Herring of the Caribbean Association of Indiana. “To see the participants respond to our music and dancing while cheering them on is awesome. Where else can you see 30,000+ smiles in one day?”

The OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon is the 500 Festival’s largest fundraiser. Race registrations directly support the 500 Festival’s free youth health, fitness, and education programs and events. Course entertainment groups have a significant impact on the event experience.
