LOGANSPORT – Walton and Cass County native Derek Pullen has announced that he will be running for the Cass County Council in the 2022 election.
Derek Pullen is a native of Walton, Indiana. He graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 2008 and received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Systems from Purdue University in 2012. He is currently the proprietor of Pullen Crop Insurance, in addition to his work farming with his father, Kevin Pullen, and brother, Kyle Pullen.
“Cass County is my home,” said Pullen. “These are challenging times everywhere, and Cass County is no exception. I understand that running for office is a commitment, but I want to do as much as I can to give back to the place that has been so good to me. Because of my background and education and experience, I have a contribution I can make to Cass County, and right now, if you have the ability to make a contribution, I
feel like you have the responsibility to make that contribution.”
Derek is married to Taylor Pullen, and is the proud father of sons Lane and Luke.
The Cass County Council seat for which Derek is running is currently held by Brian Reed, who has
announced that he is not seeking reelection.
