Last Updated on October 4, 2022 by Cass County Community Foundation

The Cass County Community Foundation is excited to announce a new $1 for $1 match opportunity to support the local funding for the proposed improvements to Rea Park in Royal Center. The Foundation is offering up to $25,000 in matching dollars to help raise the funds needed to improve the park for young and old alike. The match period will begin on Saturday October 1, 2022, and run through Friday, October 14, 2022. All gifts must be new and made to the Cass County Community Foundation and marked for the REA PARK Improvement Fund and are tax-deductible as defined by the IRS code. Donations may be made in person, via U.S. Postal Service or through the CCCF website at www.casscountycf.org.

“The Rea Park Board is excited to continue to make improvements to the park,” stated Paige Woodhouse. “The park board has been meeting for the past two years, taking baby steps to make improvements to the park, and we are all excited to make a leap into some of our larger goals with the support of the Cass County Community Foundation and the entire community.”

CCCF President Deanna Crispen said, “Our board of directors recognizes the tremendous need in our smaller communities for appropriate gathering places. The leadership in the Royal Center community has already completed preliminary work for these improvements and we are extremely impressed with their efforts. Our support with matching dollars will not only help them fulfill their goals but encourage others to invest and make local donations.”

The Cass County Community Foundation Office is located at 729 E. Market Street, Logansport and is open M-F, 9am-5pm. For more information, contact the foundation at 574-722-2200.
