Last Updated on November 28, 2022 by Grant At-Large

Local pastor Benjamin Grant is thrilled to officially announce his candidacy for Logansport City Council. Grant seeks one of the two At-Large seats up for grabs in the 2023 municipal election.

“After much prayer and reflection, I have decided to place my name on the ballot for the 2023 Logansport city election,” Grant stated. “With all of the ongoing changes and improvements our community is going through, I feel I can provide a valuable perspective as an involved community member and outsider. A continued fresh perspective can only benefit our city.”

In addition to serving the community as a local pastor, Grant is the Lead Install Plumber at Summers Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling. A native to Alabama, Grant has lived in Logansport for almost 5 years along with his wife of 11 years and 3 children (and 1 foreign exchange daughter!)

As your City Councilor, Grant will prioritize –
● A focus on economic development: giving our children a place to be proud of and call home
● Being a conservative steward of tax dollars: spending less than we bring in and responsibly utilizing our reserves
● Helping those in need: promoting and growing community resources for those who need them
● Assisting in Logansport’s next act: continuing progress, together!

“When I moved to Logansport, I fell in love with this city, its people, and the sense of community here. It would be an honor to assist in taking this community to the next level,” said Grant.

Logansport’s general election is Tuesday, November 7, 2023, with the primary election on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
