Both lanes of High Street from Yorktown Road to the west entrance of Parkmont Drive will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on both Monday, April 8, 2024 and Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
Permanent repairs are being made by the electric department to underground wiring in the area after a fiber company hit the system on Thursday, April 4, 2024 causing a large power outage.
No one was injured.
Drivers should avoid the area and seek an alternative route from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on each day. If repairs are completed earlier than expected, the road will be re-opened.
