CCCF announces $29,649 for 2024 Opportunity Grants recipients

The Cass County Community Foundation announced the names of seven organizations who will be recipients of the CCCF 2024 Opportunity Grants at a press conference and reception Tuesday, July 30 at the CCCF office.
“Opportunity Grants are for projects of $5,000 or less that will have a positive impact in our community”, said CCCF President & CEO Deanna Crispen. She added, “ Some of our non-profits struggle to even fund the most important aspects of their work. We applaud all these workers and volunteers for their heart for our community and its people.”
CCCF Grants Committee Chair, Mike Shannon, made the announcements and presented the awards to representatives of the organizations. Those receiving funding and their projects are:

The total awarded in 2024 Opportunity Grants is $29, 649. Crispen shared, “our Board of Directors is still monitoring the impact the pandemic has had on our nonprofits and is providing funds now so that these projects can get underway this summer. The CCCF Competitive Grants program is still in progress and recipients will be announced later this fall.
