Logansport Police Department investigating assault cases

The Logansport Police Department is currently investigating 2 assault cases that took place at Huston Park along the trail path. The assaults took place on July 17, 2024 and the person of interest is believed to be the same person involved in both cases. He is described as being a Hispanic male, approximately 5’4″ to 5’6″, black hair, brown eyes and medium build. He was last seen wearing tan pants and orange/black jacket and black shoes. Police are attempting to identify the male in the picture as a person of interest. Police do believe these are isolated incidents and the trails are safe to walk.
The first assault took place at approximately 10 a.m. and the second took place at approximately 6 p.m. The victims in both cases were females that were walking alone. The police would like to remind anyone using the trail paths to be aware of your surroundings and if possible, walk with someone. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lt.
