CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure that will impact State Road 29 just east of Frankfort.

Beginning on or after Monday, Oct. 28, crews will close S.R. 29 between S.R. 26 and the U.S. 421/S.R. 28 intersection between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. The closure is expected to last a few days to allow crews to replace pipes. INDOT has been coordinating with local schools to allow for bus traffic during construction.

The official detour around the closure is U.S. 421/S.R. 28 to S.R. 75 to S.R. 26. INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route around the closure and to use caution in and around all work zones.
