Last Updated on April 14, 2025 by Cass County Communication Network
Due to the decreased incidence of respiratory illnesses and viruses in the community, Logansport Memorial Hospital visitor restrictions have been lifted – effective Monday, April 14, 2025.
Visitors are still encouraged to follow a few basic rules:
- Please do not visit the hospital if you have cold or flu-like symptoms, including coughing, fever, vomiting, etc. You need to stay home if you are sick.
- If you are coming to the hospital for needed treatment while you are sick, please plan to wear a mask for the safety and protection of others.
- Please utilize the readily available hand sanitizer stations to clean your hands before visiting and during your time here. Frequent hand hygiene prevents infections of all types.
Masking is optional – staff members, patients, and visitors are welcome to wear a mask in any setting at any time. Staff members will follow the standard precautions when providing direct patient care, this may mean that staff will still be masked in certain situations while caring for you.
Visitor restrictions may return with an increased prevalence of respiratory illnesses and viruses. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to keep our patients safe from the spread of infection.
