The first official day of summer may still be a couple of weeks away, but for many, summer vacation is here!
Here’s a roundup of just a few of the things listed on CassCountyCalendar.com! New events are added daily, so check back often so you don’t miss out on any of the fun! And if you’re planning an event that isn’t listed, make sure to add it to the calendar!

Grab the Brass Ring!
Beginning Memorial Day weekend, the Cass County Carousel at Riverside Park is open weeknights from 6-9 p.m. (until school starts) and Saturday and Sunday from 1-9 p.m. (Hours change during the second week of August). Holiday hours on Memorial Day are 1-5 p.m. The children’s train runs on the weekends, weather permitting. Rides for the carousel and the train are $2 per person per ride. Get your golf clubs!
Logansport is home to Dykeman Park Golf Course, the Logansport Golf Club. Dykeman Park features a brand-new clubhouse built in 2025. There’s also miniature golf at Riverside Park in Logansport.
A new disc golf course opened this spring at Galveston Community Park, too!
Check out a Farmers’ Market
The Logansport Farmers Market will be open for business from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. each Saturday from May through October and on Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. in July, August and September. The Logansport Farmers’ Market Lot is located at the corner of 4th and Market Streets under The Pavilion in downtown Logansport.
The Royal Center Farmers Market is open Saturdays (except Oct. 3) through Oct. 31, 2026 from 8 a.m. to noon in Rea Park.
There’s also a farm market in Onward.
Live Music
You’ll find lots of options for live music listed on CassCountyCalendar.com and new events are added all the time. We even have a special section that will show you just the events tagged as live music.
Summer Reading
Check with area libraries in Logansport, Walton, Royal Center and Galveston for summer programs and events! Many are also listed on CassCountyCalendar.com!
Vacation Bible School
Many area churches offer VBS programs for area children. Churches are welcome to submit the details at www.casscountycalendar.com – check the link for our most up to date list of info we’ve received!
Float our Rivers!
Kayak rentals are available in Cass County during the summer for a float trip to France Park. | More info
For those floating from the east, like the public access site at Adamsboro, there is also a new kayak ramp at Spencer Park in Logansport.
Rent more fun!
Ping pong, cornhole, and foosball are available at Iron Horse Park, next to The Pavilion and the Farmer’s Market in downtown Logansport. Visitors may bring their own cornhole bags or ping pong paddles, OR use the equipment provided in the park’s lockers.
Cornhole and ping pong equipment may be rented through the “RENT FUN” kiosks for $2 per hour. A credit card, smartphone, and the “Rent Fun” app (with an account) are required.
Play in the Parks!
The Splash Pad at Muehlhausen Park is free and is open daily from noon to 8 p.m. The Muehlhausen Aquatic Center opens on June 2 and you can find details on pricing and events here.
You can also check out France Park, which is a county park, or take a walk or bike ride on one of the many trails in Cass County.

Here are details on a few Youth programs and activities happening in Cass County, Indiana during the summer of 2025.
Take a lap
Logansport Skate World and Fun Center offers several themed events each month, including free skating for kids on Wednesday nights. Watch for their events on CassCountyCalendar.com, too!
The Cass County Family Y also offers indoor activities for all ages.
Head for the fair!
The Cass County 4-H Fair is scheduled for July 6-10 at the Cass County 4-H Fairgrounds. Most people tend to visit the fair in the evening, when the rides and merchants buildings are open, but there are also activities during the day, including many of the livestock shows, story time at the fair and delicious meals made by the Cass County Extension Homemakers. We’ll update with the schedule when it’s available!

Civic Players of Logansport will present “Cabaret” June 26, 27 and 28, 2026 at McHale Performing Arts Center. Find more info here.
Logansport Junior Civic Theater will present “Cinderella” and “Aladdin” at McHale Performing Arts Center July 24, 25 and 26, 2026.
Mary Max Cinemas will offer free summer movies on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from May 27 through August 6, 2026.
Pick a parade and celebrate America 250!
Cass County has some great parades!
The Cass County Veterans Council organizes the annual Memorial Day Parade and Services that will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, May 25 in downtown Logansport and conclude at Mount Hope Cemetery.
The annual Pioneer Days Parade in Royal Center will be June 19, 2025 at 7:30 p.m.
Independence Day parades happen July 4 in Twelve Mile and Walton. This year’s July 4 festivities will celebrate America’s 250th birthday! Galveston will get the festivities started early with a Pop-Up Parade on June 19. Catch a patriotic performance by the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra on July 3 at McHale Performing Arts Center, then head to Twelve Mile for fireworks. Fireworks in Walton and Logansport are held on July 4. Royal Center will host America’s Potluck on July 5, and stay tuned for a nation-wide reading of the Declaration of Independence on July 8.
The Logansport Shrine Club hosts the annual Shrine Frolic Parade in downtown Logansport, typically on the third Saturday in August.
Watch a race!
The US 24 Speedway, west of Logansport, is the fastest micro sprint track in Indiana, and during the summer, there are cars on track most weekends, weather permitting. Check their Facebook page for updates.
Twelve Mile is also home to the Twelve Mile 500, America’s Oldest Lawnmower Race, held each year on July 4.
Find a festival!
Celebrate Logansport is scheduled for June 4 in downtown Logansport.
Pioneer Days in Royal Center will be held June 13 and 14, 2025.
Security Federal hosts their annual Block Party on Friday, August 7, and The Taste and More returns the following night, Saturday, August 8, 2026.
There are also several car shows throughout the summer.
On August 29 and 30, 2026, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will headline the Grissom Air and Space Expo.
Explore our region!
Spend some time this summer at the Fiberglass Freaks’ Batman Museum in downtown Logansport, or the Cass County Historical Society.
Visit local businesses, try a new restaurant (or an old favorite) or take a day-trip to a neighboring town for one of their events, like the Cole Porter Festival or Peru Circus in Miami County, or a canal boat ride in Delphi. We also have calendars for Carroll, Fulton, and Miami Counties so you can find out about events happening in nearby communities as well.
