Here are details on a few upcoming youth programs, activities and sports happening in Cass County, Indiana. This list is a work in progress that we’ll update seasonally and as more info is received. If you have an event you’d like to add, you can email it to us at contact@cassnetwork.com.

Martial Arts at the Cass County Family YMCA

For the month of March, the first three classes will be free of charge for new students. If you attend the rest of the class after that, they will prorate the remaining classes. Uniforms will be given free for kids in the class of ages 3-6.

The Y Tae Kwon Do classes provide a unique and challenging opportunity for individuals to have fun while getting a good physical workout.

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art that promotes a healthy mind and body through vigorous mental and physical exercise. Classes help students develop flexibility, strength and endurance, while also focusing on increasing self esteem, respect, concentration and discipline. This is a weekly program. Instructed by Kendy Lopez.

Classes held every month. Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.

Ages 3-6 from 5-5:50 p.m.
Ages 7-18 from 6-7 p.m.

Cost $45 Member; $60 non-member (per month)
What to wear: Uniform will be required.

Spring Break Camp

Camp is offered during the Logansport School Corporation’s Spring Break. Students out of school will take part in group games, organized sports, arts and craft activities, and more. Your children must be pre-registered to participate. For more information, please stop by the front desk.

Youth Soccer at Cass County Family Y

Youth soccer league will be a 6-week program for boys and girls ages 4–10.
Teams will be made according to number of registrations. Games will be played on Saturday mornings in the gymnasium. This program is designed to teach the basic skills of soccer and introduce children to the concepts of fitness, including the importance of exercising and stretching. This league will focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development.

Logansport Parks hosting Little Tykes Soccer Baseball for ages 4-6

Little Tykes Soccer is a fun, introductory program designed to help young players explore the basics of soccer in a relaxed, playful environment. Participants will learn what soccer equipment is, how to safely kick a ball, stand in the goalie net and practice simple skills. This program focuses on having fun and learning.

No prior experience needed.

For Ages: 4-6

March 1 and ends on May 1, 2026.

Little Tykes Soccer Season is from May 27th to July 15th.

Wednesdays at Fairview Park 6-8 p.m.

Season costs only $25.

Shirt, and certificate included for every participant.

Youth Voice Mondays

STAND UP Cass County invites you to be heard, share ideas and make change.

This is your chance to stand up & voice opinions, contribute to meaningful conversations in the community, share ideas on how we can reach more youth with our efforts, help us
empower the youth in Cass County!
Ages 12 and up are welcome

2nd Monday every month from 3:45-4:45 p.m. at The Academy


YOUTH SAFE SPACE INITIATIVE

This initiative offers a safe space designed to empower youth by developing protective factors, with a primary focus on social skills development and the prevention of peer pressure and substance use. The group strives to strengthen coping strategies, emotional processing, stress management, and dealing with interpersonal conflicts, among other vital topics.

By fostering a nurturing environment, participants can connect with experienced adult mentors and engage with their peers, sharing experiences, and insights in a safe space. The discussions are adaptable, ensuring they meet the specific needs of each specific group. With a max capacity of 15 participants per session, the program aims to enhance youths’ ability to communicate effectively with peers and adults,
fostering reconnection and promoting healthy interaction and support-seeking behaviors. Facilitated
by a skilled Health Liaison, the group is dedicated to supporting mental health and encouraging youth to
seek and offer support within their community. Once a month the opportunity to connect with community.

Ages 12-16
Every Monday and Thursday
3:45 pm – 4:45 pm

Free peer and facilitator led group. A safe space for youth to connect and share. Must be no later
then 15 mins from the start of the group to participate. Will follow the LCSC school calendar, no meetings during vacations, unless otherwise arranged. (Mondays start in Jan 2026)

Activity Corner (Grades K-5)

Welcome to any youth in grades K thru 5 at 4C Health Community Corner on Mondays from 3-5 p.m.. Free for any youth to come into an adult monitored, free safe space for the youth to engage in positive peer interaction with others.

Each week offers something different in the areas of crafts, movies & popcorn, game night, and videogames.

Welcome to any youth in grades 6th thru 12th at 4C Health Community Corner on Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. Free for any youth to come into an adult monitored, free safe space for the youth to engage in positive peer interactions with others.

Kids Skate Free

Kids 12 and under skate free on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at Logansport Skate World and Fun Center. $5 entry and $3 rentals for those over 12.
