ROAD CLOSURE: High Street Road from Mall Road to Yorktown Road – Oct. 23-Nov. 3, 2023

Drivers should prepare for the closure of a portion of High Street Road between Mall Road and Yorktown Road from October 23 through Nov. 3, 2023 as installation of utilities for the Lexington Village project continues. Lexington Road can be used as an alternate route during the closure.

UPDATE AS OF OCT. 26: F&K Construction has completed the first phase of the Lexington Village utility installation work along High Street ahead of schedule and will begin the Phase 2 closure of High Street on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023. The info below has been updated accordingly.

Phase 1
October 23-27, 2023
High Street Road will be closed between Mall Road and Yorktown Road. Traffic on Parkmont Drive will be able to use the west entrance/exit and travel west on High Street Road toward Mall Road. Access to Cedar Creek (formerly McKinney Place) will be available. Traffic on Parkwood Drive will be able to travel east on High Street Road toward Yorktown Road.

Phase 2
October 27-November 3
High Street Road will be closed between Mall Road and Yorktown Road. Access to Cedar Creek (formerly McKinney Place) will be available. Traffic on Parkmont Drive will be able to use the east entrance/exit and travel east on High Street Road toward Yorktown Road. Traffic on Parkwood Drive will also be able to travel east on High Street Road toward Yorktown Road. 

Plans for the Lexington Village project estimate 52 single-family homes to be built over the next several years along High Street and Yorktown Roads in Logansport’s easternmost commercial district.
