There’s been quite a bit of activity at the Logansport Mall property over the last few days.
We snapped a couple of photos today of work underway on the parking lot in front of Dollar Tree (above) and at the former Sears building (below).
The new mall development, an open-air retail center dubbed “The Junction”, will replace most of what is left of the original Logansport Mall.
Dunham’s Sports and Dollar Tree will remain open during construction.
Planet Fitness announced in July that it will open a new location at The Junction at Logansport. The fitness center will take 15,000 square feet inside the old Sears store and plans to open by the first of the year.
Hampton Inn by Hilton will break ground at The Junction in Spring 2021. The 99-room hotel will be built on the former J.C. Penney site.
