Here are a few things we thought you might want to know for Friday, Nov. 6, 2020:

Join Superintendent Michele Starkey live November 6, at 12:00 p.m. as she provides an update on Logansport Community School Corporation. Mrs. Starkey will address what LCSC is doing to monitor the COVID-19 cases in Cass County and give an update on the school year to date.

Here are some updates regarding Logansport High School and Lewis Cass Schools.

On Thursday, Indiana reported its highest daily total of cases of COVID-19 to date: 4,462. 45 deaths were also reported in Indiana.


Here are the numbers reported in our area on Nov. 5, 2020:

  • Cass: 2513 (52 new cases); 26 deaths
  • Carroll: 439 cases (16 new cases); 13 deaths
  • Fulton: 477 (14 new cases); 13 deaths (1 new)
  • Pulaski: 226 (8 new cases); 7 deaths (1 new)
  • Miami: 858 (25 new cases); 5 deaths
  • Howard: 1946 (47 new cases); 69 deaths
  • White: 751 (10 new cases); 17 deaths (1 new)

120 cases have been reported in Cass County in November.
