David Elias Castillo Vidal, 65, Logansport, passed away at the St. Franciscan East Hospital in Lafayette.
On May 9, 2024, his gift of life through the Indiana Donate Life Network saved as many as 8 lives through organ donation.
Born May 1, 1959, in Lima, Peru, he was the son of Wencesiao Castillo Onofre and Fortunata Vidal Chuquimanco.
He is survived by two brothers, Eddy R. Castillo Vidal and Lux E. Castillo Vidal; one sister, Lina M. Salas; nephew, Stewart (Aurora) Salas; and niece, Katherine (Niger) Castro.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Hernan M. Castillo Vidal, Rino W. Castillo Vidal, and Victor H. Castillo Vidal.
